It depends on who's playing it. If it's some disaffected youth who always talks about wanting to kill people, most likely yes. If it's just a normal kid, you never know, but most likely no. It also depends on what game it is. The GTA series has always been a subject when talking about violent videogames. In the past couple of years, some people go on crime sprees and say they were motivated by some type of crime game. Doesn't mean they should ban those games. Also, I read a story about some guy who played Manhunt and decided to kill two people he knew. Doesn't mean they should ban it. They just need to watch out for the people that buy these games. Please don't take it the wrong way. I play some violent games, but I still have a certain perspective on this topic.

I own a lot of FPS games becuase I play multiplayer a lot but I almost never play the single player becuase most of them are terrible. I tried playing black ops but I got bored in about an hour its just the same crap over and over again. Other games in other genres usually mix things up to get rid repetion Uncharted for example mixes things up with platforming and puzzles most shooters on the other hand is just shooting the same 3 or 4 enemies for 8 hours. Even Bioshock one of the best FPS games I have played got really boring towards the end becuase you basiclly fight the same few enemies the whole game. The only reason that game isnt another mediocre shooter is the story and atmosphere. The best FPS I have ever played by far is HL2.

Oki_

Because everyone is too busy playing MW2 multiplayer. No offense, people, but there are other games out there.

Of course, I'm talking about the fanboys, not ALL of the MW2 players.

Yeah, they're pretty creepy. I keep having these dreams where my classmates are spying on me for some reason. To be honest, I do recall several moments near my locker where I felt like somebody was watching me from behind. I remember going to my gym locker sometimes and opening them, only to find them empty. Usually, I kept my gym clothes in the locker. The locks are supposed to be secure. I don't know what's going on, but I am taking medicine. My doctor told me that my anti-depressant could make me have some strange dreams. This is some creepy stuff, man.

They're constantly mentioned in Oblivion. I used to think of the Nine as more inspiring, but even when you do just a tiny little crime, they bash you for it. That's why I like the Daedra, even though you can't worship them in the game. It's just that I feel like my character (a Dark Elf assassin) is much like a typical Daedra fanatic. The history of the gods and daemons in Oblivion is really interesting. Just answer here. Are you a good guy who follows the Ten Commands of the Nine? Or are you a bad guy who basically does every bad thing in Oblivion?

If responses that you don't like bother you, don't bother putting them in a public forum.xaos
Considering I AM part of the public, I can post on here.
