S I am upgrading my Gaming PC, I already have all the other parts but the last thing is deciding the video card
between the
EVGA 640-P2-N821-AR GeForce 8800GTS 640MB 320-bit GDDR3 ($379)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130071
or the
SAPPHIRE 100201SR Radeon HD 2900XT 512MB 512-bit GDDR3 ($389)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102095
according to GS they are some what similar, but because the Radeons drivers dont push it (or something) is not better than the GTS as it was suppose to be
also the 8800GTS needs 400 Watts (my power supply has 450WT) and the 2900XT needs 550 watts and a 6 pin connector so I would have to upgrade my power supply
so which one should I choose the 8800GTS which requirements I meet or the 2900XT that I need to buy the new power supply?
by the way how do I choose the power supply? how many WTs will be enough for the 2900XT? (600?)
