[QUOTE="xX-Incubus-Xx"]You're comparing Halo's TOTAL daily players to UC2's player count at one point in the day? How could UC2 even begin to compare to that, for that matter how could ANY game TO DATE(even a PC game) compare to that. Seriously I want to know the logic behind this. As it was CLEARLY stated in the OP, UC2 has about half the players online at any given time...

ShadowriverUB

so its our fault that Uncharted 2 didnt take off like Halo did? blame PS3 owners for not buying or playing this super awesome game not the people that talk against it. thats a dumb excuse...its like you're saying that the game sucks compare to Halo, how could it ever compete...but you're argueing in the favor of it, lol.

For invidual popularaty is meaningless, everyone like things or not, what is good or bad it's only your subiective opinion, just deal with it.

there's nothing to deal with friend. i think you and some cows need to deal with something though.

[QUOTE="Kennysolidsnake"] PS3 is very different with online games. 360 is focused on games like Halo and MW2, the PS3 version of MW2 currently has 550,000 people online right now. The bottom line is while the PS3 might not have one exclusive that has hundreds of thousands online like Halo 3, you will see a wide range of games that have 5,000 or more people online. Games like Warhawk, Resistance 2, GT5 prologue, Motorstorm Pacific Rift, Socom, little big planet etc etc all each have tens of thousands people online. Its just more spread out with PS3 games. Heck, LBP right now has 14,000 people online as we speak. The downloadable pool game 'Hustle Kings' that just came out on PSN now has 37,000 people online. anyway you get my pointShadowriverUB

so you're saying Xbox 360 users only play those two games and none of the other games or Xbox Live Arcade games they have on the system. they just focus on those two. but ((PS3 owners)) play all their games evenly. what a very fanboyish statement. i'll give it to you Kenny...you tried to do the unbiased thing. you're really trying. but you're inner cow shows through strongly at times and defeats the whole purpose.

Xbox 360 users play all they're games evenly to...i see people playing all different types of games at different times. so that statment Kenny made is total BS, a complete cow statement, and i'd guess insulting to many 360 gamer or lemming. there isnt any excuse why the ps3z best game cant hang with their contender in the online hit department, besides cows not being as interested in online play. you cant say its because it's because there arent enough system sold anymore. it's just that ps3 users are usually casual gamers and 360 users are more hardcore and get online and battle in droves.

woot?.... WOOT? You misunderstand what hardcore and casual gamer is

no i don't.

what a load of fanboy nonsense.

you call him a fanboy then you go on to say that ps3 gamers are casual and 360 gamers are hardcore. your a lemming and a hypocrite

um...i'm not a fanboy. i have no alligance to any faction on these boards or elsewhere. i'm just stating my opinion on the facts and things i've observed. just because i think ps3 owners are casual gamers(because all signs point to it) doesn't make me a fanboy, thank you.

[QUOTE="gago-gago"]Don't forget the 360 came out first, so it has a larger install base. So every time you try to compare PSN online users and XBL online users, it's not going to be fair for one. Like I said I wouldn't try to compare online players from PSN and XBL, because of the fee and other reasons you and I listed.toast_burner

how long are cows going to use this played out line? the PS3 is only 5 million behind. damn near neck and neck with the 360. so this excuse doesnt apply anymore. there's no excuse here. 360 users play online more than ps3 users, period. which is weird since they're service is free.

Halo 3 is focused on MP. UC2 is focused on SP its common sense that halo 3 will have more users online

Halo isnt focused on multiplayer, lol. it has a decent campaign with a good story to get into and follow. just because people don't throw the game to the side after completeing it like ps3 games doesnt mean that it's focused only on multiplayer. it just has a great multiplayer asset to. its that the game has a certain charm to it that users can't seem to put it down...so they jump on the multiplayer and keep playing. just because Halo has a good multiplayer to doesn't automatically mean the game is worked towards multiplayer Toast. with every new bungie installment of Halo they promoted the story and where it was going...put that in the forefront. not the multiplayer. they mentioned the multi as a bonus to the campaign. now MAG that is a game focused on multiplayer....its only multiplayer and it cant even compete with Halo. as great as ps3 games are they always seem to be lacking in some way. always just a little short of the bar. i'm serious, its either the games or that ps3 owners are casual gamers and arent really into video games to the extent of 360 users.

[QUOTE="BigBoss96fs"]To be honest, i think it would be great for Uncharted 2 to go multiplat. I never say this, because i like that Sony has strong exclusives, showing money doesnt equal better games, But the series is amazing, and i think too many people knock it because its "on the other platform". i bet 9/10 people would love this game, which is a huge ratio. but i don't think Naughty Dog will ever do it. everytime they do an interview, they throw in a dig about it "not being able to be on the 360". and at the end of the day, they are getting the sales they need to be successful and profitable. Zaibach

nah a game like uncharted will suffer and loose its charm if became a halo-esque or COD ish type of phenom. The last games of the aforementioned though commercially succesful havent been thier best iteration.

see thats the thing...ps3 games dont have as many players playing them as 360 games. so that in fact means that PS3 games are the games lacking charm. wouldn't it? more playings would flock to the games if they had that certain charm or draw like 360 games do. so your post is a little backwards.

[QUOTE="Mario1331"]

wats so gud about those numbers? by how much it sold its alrite but to halo 3 and MW2 that really is insignificant

xX-Incubus-Xx

So you say it's sad when Halo is literally the 360's flagship franchise and COD has like 10 installments against a game that JUST got an online component?

If you ask me, there is no comparison here. UC is a VERY new franchise, It's online mode is still VERY new and unproven and it's third person. To try to pit it against 2 of the biggest console first person shooters ever is ludicrous.

whats ur point? Halo took off from the gate. from the first game on. why should Uncharted be given a break just because it didn't?

[QUOTE="heybooboo19"][QUOTE="SaltyMeatballs"]Are we just supposed to believe this number? What did they change from before to make this the "true" number?BURSTIIIFIRE

There are multiple servers running. Instead of just who's on your server they count everybody I'm assuming. I'm not sure what the point of doing this now is though because the game's been out for awhile. Anyone worried about these sort of things probably moved on to something else.

The TC is wrong the number is total players in a DAY not online at that time.

and the thread takes a sharp dive. nice try Kenny.

[QUOTE="Rza_rectah"][QUOTE="gago-gago"]The key word in your post is "had" while XBL still has a fee. So when people downplay how more people would rather buy a console with a high failure rate, over priced accessories, too many kids online, and has a fee to play online than a PS3 that does everything and free to play online, it's not a good look.gago-gago
SO when the ps 3 was 699 and the 360 was 399 I guess we should not count those sales since they were not even. We cant even count the sales now because the cheapest 360 is 199 while the cheapest ps3 is 299. Ill disregard everything else you just posted. Does everything Really? My 40 gig barely has enough space for games and cant do B/C, nor do I have private chat, party chat, or a numerous amount of other things. Im not bashing the ps3 its an amazing system but please for your sake and mine dont take the marketing campaign literally. Thats what makes those commericals so good because its so outrageous.
