[QUOTE="dkhw"][QUOTE="EmperorSupreme"][QUOTE="kingtito"][QUOTE="EmperorSupreme"]Get the X360 if you want too play 2006 and 2007 games. Get the PS3 for 2007 and 2008 games.
Honestly PS3 has the best games graphically now, free online, a far superior 2008 lineup of games, has better hardware, has more features, is more future proof and has the ability to play HD movies. If you want the best get the PS3. Ironically it's less expensive than X360 as well since X360 gouges it's owners with proprietary add-ons, extra service fees, and more expensive accessories.

Ummm yeah you sound real unbiased.
Get what YOU think you would like more. Most NON fanboys have both but probably play the 360 more. Right now the PS3 isnt worth getting. Most of it's good games won't be coming out till the end of the year.
Except everything I stated is a FACT.
-Best games graphically - PS3 Unreal Tournament3, Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted
-Free Online- Fact
-Superior 2008 lineup - Fact Do you want Killzone, GranTurismo, Wipeout, Resistance 2, Metal Gear, Final Fantasy, Little Big Planet, etc, etc, etc.... Or Alan Wake and Ninja Gaiden 2 (which looks exactly the same as Ninja Gaiden Sigma already on PS3 except with excessive Gore) ??
-Best Hardware- Fact
-Most features- Fact
-More Future proof - Fact
-Ability to play HD movies -Fact
-Less expensive accessories -Fact ex: Rockband wireless Guitar PS3 $59 X360 wireless guitar $79 wifi addon for X360 $100 recharge Kit for X360 $15 extra gamertag free on PS3, $15 on X360, HD upgrade $109 for 500gb esata drive, $180 for X360 proprietary 120gb drive.
Wow...Being a fanboy really blinds you, doesn't it? By the way, PS3 DOES NOT HAVE THE BEST-LOOKING GAMES? THAT's your opinion. Not a fact. Also, if you already been to 2011 and seen what happens to each consoles, don't put "more future proof" as a fact. Seriously, also, Ninja Gaiden II is far better looking than Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Just because it's not on the system you own doesn't allow you to bash it. By the way, Resistance 2 and FFXIII is NOT confirmed for 2008. Please. I will suprised if they did.
2008 is also a GREAT year for 360: Splinter Cell: Conviction, Fable 2, Lost Odyssey, Halo Wars, World in Conflict, Supreme Commander, Ninja Gaiden II, Alan Wake, Infinite Undiscovery, Cry On, Too Human, and etc...
Yes the best looking games are on PS3.
FACT: Mark Rein has already said Unreal Tournament trumps Gears of War graphically with more onscreen, more explosions, more characters, bigger levels, more polygons, etc... It was designed to show off the Unreal engine.
FACT: Uncharted has been acclaimed as the best game graphically on consoles, and several sites including Eurogamer, Gamespy and Ripten have not only said it's the best game graphically, but that it's not even possible on X360.
FACT: More future proof HDMI 1.3 is more future proof than HDMI 1.0. Blu-ray is more future proof than DVD, Harddrive standard and upgradable on PS3 is more future proof. Wifi standard on all system is more future proof. Industry standard Bluetooth accessories is more future proof than Microsoft proprietary wireless. etc...
FACT: Resistance 2 is confirmed for Fall of this year.
FACT: you sound like Dwight Schrute
And I think the PS3 has more potential, but it had a pretty slow start.
For right now, I think it would be good to buy a 360, because there are a lot of good games that came out in 07 that will hold you over for a long time.
Sorry if this has been asked before but I havent gotten around to hooking up to live, and I made a gamertag on xbox.com to save my name. I've had the 360 since christmas and have gotten a good amount of achievements, including Right Hand of God on GH3 (which is beating expert)
I read about merging accounts on xbox.com and found that you have to pay to change your gamertag at some point. What I'm wondering is if there is a simpler way of merging the accounts? I've read some topics on this, but no one is ever really clear on what to do. Is it possible to just forget about the Live account I made on xbox.com and just make a new one when I sign up?
Thanks in advance
[QUOTE="Cheesypoofs46"]It's a lot more bloodier. My friend and I were able to shoot a guy's arm off at one point...longhair72
No you weren't
The game is M for mature but i think there is a very wide range in the same rating
Cod 4 is really in the not that bad range of theM RATING
Raze-boi just explained when and where you shoot the guy's arm off. If you don't believe me watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4aXV1AziVXw
you know not everybody who has a 360 has a hardrive
hyrueprince11
yes but there is still a 360 hardrive available. There is no hardrive for the wii currently, so even though a small population of 360 owners do not have hardrives, they can still buy them and download demos, where wii owners that wouldnt be possible except on SD cards maybe
