Where do you live? U.S or EU...Because i live in the UK and Sony didnt offer me a Slim.-Hoax-

Yeah I'm from the US (maybe it's only a US thing).

Thanks for your help, everyone. Looks like my progress is all wiped out, but least I'll retain my trophies and whatnot.

Just got the YLOD. Spoke to Sony, who informed me of 2 options: getting a refurbished Slim, or getting back a BC PS3 (which is what I have).

I want to know your experiences, though. If I choose the 2nd option and stick with a BC PS3, is there any chance that I'll get my same PS3 and HDD back, and will be able to retain my saves, or will I lose them no matter what?

I'm just concerned about my game progress. Will I lose it all, or is there some way that I can keep it (without performing a quick fix)?

Thanks a ton, people.

the first one i got was for Infamous. Played the crap out of it. About to grab the trophy for Uncharted 2. Also super close to getting the Assassin's Creed 2 platinum, but I don't have the patience for the feathers.

thanks a ton for the help guys! and yeah, the only thing i'd think of replacing any time soon is the graphics card, although i think i'll be fine with it for a bit. i can currently run crysis on high with a few options on very high pretty smoothly.

I just bought a new computer with these stats:

windows 7

i7 920 2.66 quad processor

6 gb ram

240 gts 1gb graphics card

i also have an xfx 8800 gts 640 mb lying around. just wondering if anyone knows which card is more powerful. should i leave the 240 gts in the computer, or install the 8800 gts instead? thanks for the help! ;)

the whole demo is great, but not beaing able to move while shooting in an action game???boooo-urn. if they had stuck with the original forumla then it might work. but since they went more action oriented, these controls are game breaking to me. if they fix or patch it then i could enjoy this game. but as it stands...phail on all fronts.

enygma500

phail on all fronts, eh? seeing as RE4 turned out to be the game of the year on the gamecube and was extremely popular on the ps2 and is still one of the most popular 3rd person shooters today, i really don't think it 'phailed.' seems to me that people didn't really mind the controls. i personally thought they worked perfectly.

I'm planning on removing my profile from the 360 harddrive because I'm going to sell it (plz no flaming), and I was wondering if I need to do anything more (besides simply deleting the profile) since there's lots of random information associated with it (name, address, credit card number, etc.), or is it really just a simple delete?

Thanks! ;)

Give them time to mourn first of all, they lost a close friend. Second, they have to rewrite the skeleton script to account for his death. Dr_Brocoli
I completely agree and am definitely giving them time to mourn. I feel horrible for them. Troy was way too young to pass. I was just wondering what people thought their future would be like. Also, what do you mean by the skeleton script? Something to do with an upcoming episode or something?
