I wouldn't keep your hopes too high anyway. In my opinion, the series has been going downhill, and since a new company is going to publish the 5th one, it's not gonna be the same. If you watch the vids, animations look horrible and the graphics are just mediocre. This is only my opinion, but the game's gonna play differently (probably not as awesome and twisted as the others), so don't feel bad. Play something else in the meantime and have fun with it.

So earlier this morning I tried starting my car and it wouldn't start. There was no sound from the engine when I turned the key in the ignition--no clicking. nothing. the radio turned on and all of the lights inside came on, so there was obviously power in the battery. any clue what the problem may be?

yeah, although it's summer now, i had my ps3 in my dorm with me this entire year in college and did fine. it's definitely possible to focus on your studies, just gotta manage your time wisely and get work done before hand so you can reward yourself with games after. also, it's always nice to get work done with a group of friends so that when you get back to your room you're free of work. =]

I haven't even played GTA4 the last few weeks, got old fast unlike the other GTA games. I wont have any problems moving on to MGS4.MasterNinja49
although i have played it recently, i totally agree. definitely get pretty old pretty fast, and moving onto mgs4 will be an amazing change. still gonna keep it though cuz i feel like coming back to it sometime in the future will be fun. got rid of oblivion, then bought it back form a friend. feel like the same thing could happen.

[QUOTE="Cheshyre9"][QUOTE="hillelslovak"]This topic has been done about 800 times in the last month. They are completely different games. Its stupid to compare them to each other.hillelslovak

sry man, didn't realize. i don't spend my life browsing video game forums... :\

Look at my avatar. Are you looking? Good. That's what I think of you. I dont spend my time browsing the forums. And if you look back even a week, I bet you could find at least a few MGS4 vs. GTA IV threads.

Alright man, not trying to start anything. If my avatar was a happy face, that's what I'd be thinking of you. No anger over here! :D

For those of you who camped out for GTA4 or just plain loved it and are planning on picking up MGS4, how many of you are gonna keep playing GTA4, and how many of you are gonna either let it collect dust or trade it in?

I actually don't think it's gonna be that great. First of all, I can't remember the names of each company, but the creators of CoD3, which was very unsuccessful, are developing this one, while the developers of Cod2 and 4, which were both awesome, are making CoD6. Second, we're going back to WWII? Wow, getting kind of old, isn't it? Sure, maybe the graphics are pretty good, but I think the gameplay's gonna get real old real fast. :\

It looks great nevertheless, but I still perfer a more "photo-realistic" looks rather than the cellshaded look. Still looks great IMO.jjgamer03
I agree. Also, his facial expression looks like it's exactly the same (kinda stoic) in each screen. Kinda strange?
