It was hell fun going in tank blowing cops and stuff up and i wana do that with the "realistic" graphicsG-T-A---M-A-D
yeah man, i agree that blowing cops DOES = Hell fun!
Heavenly Sword, DMC4, Ratchet & Clank, Burnout Paradise, Resistance, DMC4, Army of Twohiryu3
shooting and action you say?
well, you've got Uncharted already, so you're set there (the game is a-mazing).
heavenly sword's super repetitive, and doesn't have to do with shooting at all so i wouldn't get that (plus, it's super short). maybe rent it like i did and pay $10 instead of 50 or 60.
dmc4 - imo, the series got pretty old because of the (again) repetitive gameplay, mediocre storyline and animations, etc. it's average at best.
resistance was a fun game, i agree there. plus it's probably pretty cheap at some stores, so go ahead and pick that up.
i've heard mixed about army of two, so can't help ya there.
as i said before, Uncharted is amazing, along with GTA4, Assassin's Creed (very fun and intense adventure game, not a shooter though), MGS4 comes out early June and will be amazing as well, maybe pick up Resident Evil 4 (for the PS2) and play it on your PS3 (one of the best shooters I've ever played), Battlefield: Bad Company comes out pretty soon and I'm sure it'll have amazing online and pretty fun single player, and finally, Call of Duty 4 is still very popular.
oh, and don't get Haze ;) the demo wasn't that great, and lots of people agree.
How is it hooked up? If its hooked up to your receiver through HDMI, fiddle with the settings. If its just through RCA cables, thats why. You need a digital connection,.candid_llamaim using optical for the audio, and a DVI/HDMI cable for the video.
I have my PS3 hooked up to a 5.1 Surround Sound system, which plays the audio great when I watch BDs. However, some (not all) of my regular DVDs do not play in 5.1, although they do say that it is supported on the back cover. Any reason why this may be?
Also, a while back when I first got my PS3, I tried playing CoD3, and I didn't really get any audio from it, and I think that this may have been the same issue (I haven't tried playing that in a while, but it just popped into my head).
We all know that the 360 version is going to have actual Achievements (obviously, since 360 games do), but does anyone here think or know if the PS3 version will do something similar to Uncharted and Heavenly Sword, where you can complete specific tasks (that are listed) and unlock things from there? If so, I think they'd carry over the same awards as the 360 achievements and allow you to either unlock things or just give you something to try and complete.
