I'm looking at something that is reasonably quick, and is good for graphic design as well as being portable. I am able to get a third off the price of a mac through work, so I can get the ones that I have for a third cheaper through filing the invoice

The issue is that I am in Australia, and here macbooks are a lot more expensive, I'm looking at Ebay stores.
I'm looking to buy a macbook for using at uni and I'm trying to make a decision between 2 models:
13.3" Macbook Pro (mid 2009)
Processor: 2.26GHZ
2GB 1066DDR3 RAM
160GB 5400RPM HDD
Price: $1250
VS
13.3" Macbook unibody (late 2008)
Processor 2.4GHZ
2GB RAM
250GB 5400RPM HDD
Price: $1180
What do you all think? Is it worth going with the later model?
there are some HTPCs that have them for use in the living room or whatever, i don't know to what extent they would be effective, but it could cut down the need for a keyboard and mouse
when i buy a game with a key I write the key on the disk with a marker - the disk doesn't look as pretty, but it means I don't have to worry about losing the case. (and if you dont want to alter the aethestics of the disk you can always write the number on the back :P )
it has aged pretty well - it isn't like you start it up and are like "ARGHH, IT BURNS MY EYES!!!" (unless you have a 30' monitor)
Half Life 2 + Episodes and KoTOR I/II. I've completed all these games several times and I still go back to 'em.

Yeah, definately KOTOR, and also Vice City, when you just feel like killing something/someone etc.

I'm trying to wirelessly network my printer (Epson Stylus photo RX610) with a D-Link 524UP wireless router (includes print server), now my router can find and identify the printer, however my computer (running Windows 7) cannot, I go to add a wireless, bluetooth or network printer and it can't find any.
When I go to install the drivers the computer tells me to plug the printer in, but it cannot find the printer (which at this point was plugged into the router) would this make a difference?
It might have something to do with developers/publishers, they seem to be contantly merging and being bought and sold, so it could be something like that
