So I just bought the Nyko Power Pak+ (without the dock) and I'm wrondering if it's functioning properly. When I plug it in I can turn it on, and play just fine, I had to reset my date & time, but it doesn't seem to be charging. It says its charging on screen, but the orange light won't come on, and the moment I unplug it my 3DS shuts off. Did I install it wrong or something?

The pricetag is a bit much for me, the proprietary memory cards are overpriced, as a bonus I can possibly have another color choice(unlikely), and greater videogame library variety...I am mainly just waiting for a pricecut though

I'm curious. I personally don't see a need for it seeing as I could just use my phone since I have unlimited data on it but is it active from the moment you turn it on until the month expires?
