From the dashboard you should be able to go into settings and allow voice chat. Its weird that it would suddenly popped up but it should be easy enough to undo.

Easy slow down here everybody this kid has a legitamate point. Just last night I was playing with a guy who could fly(no lie it was like a superman perk)he didnt take damage and he could literally only lose a match if he wanted to

The other night while playing Call of Duty 4 on Xbox360 I saw a person who could fly. I no il get grief for this but i would love to understand how this works. Ive done it all on that game (or so I thought) and I want something new to explore NOT exploit.

Personally I think if somebody wants to cheat let em. It doesn't make a difference to me if I get destroyed by a hacker. Just last night I was playing cod4 with a guy who could fly above or under ground and was invincible. It was the most fun i've ever had in the game. Also after talking to the guy for a couple hours im pretty certain he has or could hack xbox live. He also has me pretty convinced that he has unbanned himself several times. And lastly in defense of the kid getting made fun of for saying the a person he knows is a great hacker and that he sounds like a little kid. You all are the ones sounding like little children, you are putting so much faith in microsoft that you can't fathom the possibility that there is someone out there who can beat them at their own game. Seriously think before you post.
