So, I can play stalker for hours no problem, have the computer on for hours and no problems, but as soon as I play bf2 or bf2142, I can play for a while then my system just restarts. WTF!!!!!! Now, I tested the hard drive for errors, its good to go, played bf with all processes down to barely nothing, and it restarts. I thought it was my video card over heating, nope that's fine, cpu over heating, nope that's fine. The only thing I can go on is my hard drive. Its about eight years old, and it makes a funny noise when I am browsing servers in both bf games...is it my hard drive? Everything else in my system is brand new basically besides my hard drive...warriorlax1234
If your woried about your hard drive download SpeedFan...its a program that can read your Hard Drives S.M.A.R.T data...and give you its performance rating...click the "Perform in depth online analysis"
When you see the ASUS logo...wait untill the lights (Num, Caps, Scroll) flash on your keyboard then press the Tab key (Above Caps Lock Key)...then press delete to enter the BIOS...Then there should be a boot up tab, go into that and you should have a list of the boot up sequence...disable your hard drive, then save and exit.
When the computer restarts, it will say "Press any key to boot from CD Rom"...then press enter or something and follow the onscreen instructions...i hope this helps.
Ok mods...i am NOT trolling the PS3 or anything like that i actually like all 3 systems...i am simply asking a question that does not belong in system wars because...its not a question to fight over.
Is there any way you can attach the PS3's 60GB HDD to the HDD port on the 360 so i can changeit from 20GB to 60GB maybe with a wire, or plug it into the usb port or memory unit port.
