ya know they might even have a demo of Twilight Princess at the conference since they made some big changes with the use of Link's Sword in the game... If they show it I hope it makes the game look even funner...
Since EA is supposed to be at the Games Conference, I hope we will get to see more Wii remote functions on Madden 2007, so far it seemed like EA was headed in the right direction.
IP= Intelectual Property... The Sims is Will Wright's intellectual property. Miyamoto (spelling correct) has announced a new IP meaning not a new Mario game, but a new franchise altogether. that is what most ppl are excited for. kukukuk
ohhh. Well then I complete understand why everybody would be excited about that! A whole new series made by Miyamoto would be awesome! Thanks for the help.
[QUOTE="animorphsfan"][QUOTE="NFunspoiler"]It's alive because we're all excited about LGC:DHow the hell is this thread still alive? I checked this thread like 16 hours ago!!!!?
I want to see gameplay footage, and more info on the online service. I hope it's better than friend codes and more like Age of Empires online service or StarCraft's. Ideally like Xbox Live but i don't think it can be that good.

yeah, but this excited crowd is going to turn into an angry mob if nintendo doesn't give us our release date and price Wednesday
agreed, though I would say that I don't even think that they really will tell us the release date and price, maybe just one or the other to keep us curious. I'd say only about a 60-70% chance of them revealing both...
I think they're probably gonna show some "new and improved" gameplay from red steel since the programmers have been saying that they've made a bunch of improvements on the game
But what I would love see is some more information about online play and how many games will get to utilize online, including an absolute confirmation that SSBB will definitely be online.
oh and by the way what does "ip" stand for when you guys are talkin about the miyamoto "ip"?
[QUOTE="ChrisSalamon"]*The main problem people have with freind codes is that the person's code is different for each game.
*However this is becuase the DS can't save the code on its system for you.
*The Wii is a console and does have the ability to save within itself.
*Therefore the "friend code" will be the same for every game and the main problem with the freind code system won't exist.
Friends codes will be fine on the Wii.

You don't know that, and Nintendo has stated that the implementation of WiFi will be on a game by game basis.
Plus, your initial assumption is incorrect: you *do* have a system specific 'friend' code on your DS. It gets attached to the game specific friend code. So every game's friend code is a mix of software specific code seeded with your system specific code. The DS stores its code in your firmware.
*When they said online would be on a game by game basis they meant that some games would be online and some wouldn't, you're taking the quote out of context.
