I didn't vote for them out of trollish reasons but because of A.) I wasn't fond of the other sidekick(as crazy as it may sound, some people actually liked these characters legit) B.) GS needs to learn to stop adding these characters if they don't want them winning and not try to rig the contest themselves and the only way such will happen, is through such results. It does actually take effect. Sephiroth would've taken 1st last time, but the trolls took him down ASAP. Notice how despite FF being so popular and with countless sidekicks more recognizable than the likes of say Wakka or Moogle, the only FF characters WERE Wakka, Moogle, Vivi, and Chocobo? Now maybe they'll learn when they say "game character" contest, they'll keep it "game character" and not "game character plus one or two media characters who happened to appear in a game or two".

Does insulting someone because you aren't happy with said results makes you any bit special ruining fun for others? Absolutely not! Just a childish habit really. Just something to think about...

@theshonen8899 We can prevent such things from happening by not including characters that GS intends to lose in round 1 and turns out to be troll fodder. It'll also help if they don't add characters that are too strongly tiered to even compete such as Launchpad. Seriously, wasn't it obvious no one stood a chance? Why else was I mad about his inclusion? It was downright unfair, NO ONE STOOD A CHANCE.

Last I checked, wasn't having SOMEBODY doing innovative things a good thing? Nintendo has always been the one to come up with stuff, and so I'd imagine focusing on innovation is good for gaming as a whole. NES: Controller, last I checked on this one it was quite necessary. SNES: Shoulder buttons. Another thing we've come to use very much today. Gameboy: HANDHELD GAMING, VERY IMPORTANT. N64: Analog Stick, I think it's good, considering otherwise we'd still be playing on D-Pad and Arcade sticks, and most certainly never would have thought of dual analog. Gameboy Color: Actually having color on handhelds. Gee, again, I think this is important lol. Gamecube: Wireless controllers...tell me you don't love playing without a cord... DS: Touch Screens and Dual Screens, both features that have really revolutionized handheld market, as well as the ability of 3d on handheld games! Wii: Motion Controls, admittingly not quite as innovative but still, we've gotten some pretty good concepts out of it and it's introduced gaming to a larger market. 3DS: WE HAVE FREAKING 3D. COME ON. All in all, I say keep up inventing new things because as much as I love my PS3, it's not coming up with the next big thing in gaming unlike you Nintendo.
