The drive itself doesn't usually get to hot so it shouldn't really be a problem. But if you have the space it could never hurt to set it to the side of your 360.
Deffinately a graphics card if you are going to be doing any gaming. A good graphics card if you are on a budget is Nvidia's 8600 GT or GTS. If you have a microcenter near you they are running a promotion on them till the end of this month in-store I believe. I'm looking for an MMO to play. I don't want it to be a full time job, like WOW for most people. I will probably only play an hour a day at most. But there are some things i dont like: -MMO's that are pay monthly -MMO's that use micropayments so people who use real money have an advantage. -MMO's that are a grindfest (even quests that say go get 100 wolfs teeth and make you grind for 2 hours) -MMO's that use premade characters I have played through Guild Wars a few too many times, so that's out. Other than that I'm up to trying any. Gimme some ideas, a link would be nice too. Thanks.
There are a few different types of ethernet. The main difference is speed such as 10-gigabit, 100-gigabit, ect. For normal use you should use a basic rj-45 cable. You can run rj-45 about 100 meters by itself. It is twisted pair and will work with 10 and 100 base t networks.
i had a 360 from launch that i sold to my cousin when i got my elite. it just got the red ring last week and he just shipped it off to microsoft yesterday.
we'll see how quick he gets it back and if they repair it or give him a new one.
