I still have the tape in rotation in the car. I haven't stopped jamming it since November.

The other day I was mixing an album on Pro Tools when suddenly my macbook completely froze. The usual please restart didn't even come up, it was just frozen and I could not eject my external hard drive or shut down pro tools or even my macbook. After a little while I finally did hold down the button long enough to shut it down, but when I plugged in my external the next day, 0 items showed up. I suspect that the data I had on my external might still be there cause it says 461 GB available and it's a 500 GB hard drive. Is there a way to access these files? Also important to note is that I don't know if I ever formatted it correctly because I did have problems transferring between PC and Mac. But I haven't had problems opening my Pro tools sessions from it. Lastly when I did check it says it's formatted NFTS for Windows. I'm not very hardware savvy, but hopefully that explains it enough.
So I just bought some monitors cause they were cheap and I needed them for my music setup, but I wanna try them with my PS3. They have XLR or TRS inputs. I'm wondering if there is an adapter for maybe RCA to TRS or fiber optic or maybe fiber optic into my Samsung reciever and use the Component/RCA on that? I clearly am a bit confused on either how to do this or which route to take.

I've yet to spend over $100 on headphones, but I recently have picked up a habit of buying some more often to try them out. I bought the Skullcandy Hesh NBA Thunder Kevin Durant's a month or so ago. I obviously wasn't going for quality, but he's my favorite player, they look cool, feel good, and they sound good.
I am currently studying audio engineering, yes, but I am not an audiophile..yet.
These headphones did not satisfy my craving for bass so I recently purchased Sony's MDR-XB 500s. They sound pretty nice especially for the price ($50 on Amazon). They feel comfortable and the bass is defintely satisfactory.
I also have the $50 noise cancellation Sony ones which do decently cancel out ambient noise and sound pretty good, but they aren't that loud and I'm not a huge fan of headphones that sit on the ear.
Mann I'd like to have alotta those! Mainly Al Green though, prolly my all time favorite singer
That's a nice collection
You mean one from the first pressing?
