First make sure it's getting power to the PS3 from the wall socket or power strip depending on how you have it connected. I have everything that's electronic going through a power strip myself because of the electrical storms that come through the area that could ruin any electronic device.jimm895

I tried another port a few feet away on aonther wall near the TV and when I switched on the power, still no red light. If it's important it is a 60 GB PS3..It's been running fine, and me and my brothers haven't had any problems with it

The red light isn't even coming on when I put the main power on. I did not know about this until after my younger brother told me the PS3 was not coming on and he checked to see if it was plugged in and everything. I'm not sure when when the last time it was played. Most likelt yesterday before my brother left for Austin. My dad did use a blu ray player last night to watch movies on the same TV the PS3 is on. Could this have affected anything? Any ways for me to get it responding because I wanna hop on Madden or NCAA

This comparison threw me off when I first read the title, but it was a good read. Being that I live prolly a mile or 2 away from Pimp's house(but not in the same city) seeing a UGK thread excites me. I like Run DMC, I've jammed a few of their songs that I thought were dope, but UGK is by far my favorite rap group. Production-Pimp C is horribly UNDERRATED, he is very musically inclined and can play actual live instruments well. His southern country rap tunes as he called it are well put together in songs he produces for their albums. Also his singing is enjoyable to me. Lyrics-Bun is more of the lyricist, but both were nice on the mic. Pimp would sometimes take the title of better verse(last vers of **** My Car from Ridin't Dirty) and Bun straight ripped Murder from Ridin' Dirty(althought Pimp's first 2 lines make his verse and make me laugh and also doesnt dissapoint). Their longevit y in the game spans over 20 years. They're an underground group yet have collabed with Jay-Z(in which he had to go rerecord his verse on Big Pimpin after hearing Bun's lol) and they have had countless dope songs. I personally think their first three CDs are timeless classics, and enjoy them all 3 everytime I listen to them. Their last 3 are defintely great too. Point being, yes I agree they are better than Run DMC and they are great pioneers in Southern Rap.
