No you don't.

AAA on Gamespot System Wars forum is a score of 9.0 to 9.5. The score we officially go by here, are Gamespot's.

I keep hearing that PS3 exclusives dont sell nearly as much as their critical reception makes them deserving. Whenever someone brings in UC2 or MGS4 sales they are simply laughed at for being not even comparable to halo sales and thus it's "nothing" significant. First of all since when was critical reception the factor determining killer sales? Halo is an incredibly powerful brand that not many games can compete with.

So what other 360 exclusive sells like halo? None so that means all 360 exclusives dont do well either?:roll:

People bashed MGS4's 5 million mark as being nothing significant. Ok so how much did gears of war 2 sell which is the second biggest 360 exclusive? It sold 5 million as of mid 2009. Microsoft hasnt issued a new no. since then so it's safe to assume that there hasnt been a significant progress since then.

Even if we give it that it has sold 6 million now, it is not much better than MGS4 considering the 360's install base is bigger. And both games have a similar metacritic score so it's a fair comparation.

So how much did GRAW sell? How much did PDZ sell?

Despite getting universal critical acclaim why does forza not sell multi-millions? It is simply becasue the brand just never got that popular.

So sony has no answer to halo? Can we admit that no PS3 exclusive game can touch that popularity? Well there is a game called "gran turismo" which seems to be ignored when the comparasions to halo start. It's unfortunate that sony hasnt released a full fledge game in years but I am sure prolouge has removed any doubts that the gran turismo brand may not have the same appeal now.

If you want to compare your halo sales with a PS3 game then do it with gran turismo 5, I can assure you it will rival halo reach sales...
