Activision's idiotic move
by Civfan333 on Comments
ok, a few days ago, Activision came up with the dumbest move they could do, and then go through with it. Here's probably what they were saying,
"ok, let's think of all the games that have a chance to be any good, then cancel them all, but keep one game that MIGHT be good, but no one even cares about anymore. I mean, W......T........H?!?!?! They just managed to cancel Brutal Legend, Ghostbusters, and World in Conflict: Soviet Assault! WHY!??!?!!? Those would all have been AWESOME! But here's the best part about this huge fiasco. We STILL get to play, don't stress yourself, you'll love this, you get to play a new Crash Bandicoot, a new Spyro, and Ice Age! WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME ACTIVISION ACTUALLY CHECKED INTO THE GAMING WORLD!?!?!?!? Yes, crash and spyro were popular, SEVEN YEARS AGO!!!!!!! This is by far, THE dumbest move ANY game company in ALL of history has ever done......
Dark Knight Review
by Civfan333 on Comments
well, yesterday I finally caught up with the rest of the world and say " The Dark Knight" starring Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, and the star of the show, now deceased Heath Ledger.
SPOLIERS AHEAD! BEWARE....
Batman is considering hanging up the hood and retiring from Batman because Harvey Dent is being "the White knight" and turning Gotham around the "good" way. Then the joker comes in and any lingering doubts about Ledger's performance as one of THE most recognizable villains of all time instantly vanishes. His acting is superb and he really gets into the role. The main plot I won't disclose (just in case anyone in the world who actually hasn't seen this movie reads this) But it's thrilling and you'll NEVER get up to use the bathroom or anything the second this picture begins. IT.......IS.......AWESOME, and that's the bottom line. Well, Ledger's role steals the show from Bale (batman) and the hype for his role went WAY up when he died......but, definetely worth going to your best theatre to see. One of the best flicks this year and not a letdown....
SPOILER ENDS HERE
One last thin, Also, I must warn you now that if you have ANY thoughts of actually taking your children to this picture PLEASE vaporize them from your mind. There's no way you want your kid to see the Joker or his performance.....EVER (minimum age, a VERY mature 13 or otherwise 14)
