Is he joking? What exactly does the Xbone have that the PS4 does not besides the spy-camera and microphone? A higher price point? I suppose changing channels with obnoxious voice commands and kinect-style gameplay are supposed to be system-selling features. The XB one doesn't work as a cable box, you still need that plugged into your television. The XBone does not DVR, so you still need your TiVo. The Xbone doesn't play 360 games or even the easy-to-emulate xbox live arcade games, so you need a 360 on top of that pile of hardware too. Microsoft filed and received a patent for the technology to use it's connect to detect how many people are in the room and charge a "public viewing fee" if there are too many. Microsoft claims the Kinect 2 can officially track up to 6 people in the room, therefore you'll need another blu-ray player to watch your DVDs in case you have more than 6 people in the room. All of this you will need in addition to this so-called "all in one" device. If an engineer who helped design the bone really thinks voice-commands, drm, and "achievements" for watching television shows somehow makes the Xbone better for entertainment, then Microsoft may have more problems than we thought.
