Only Batman? Well, that ruins all the fun. But, Grant Morrison's Batman stuff was pretty great.

actually just recommend me anything, ill check it out but i like to stay on one lore then move to the other rather than reading dc/marvel at the same time
you haven't read year one? that's like the staple batman comic
some faves of mine:
batman and the monstermen/batman and the mad monk - takes place early in batman's career, superb art, very good stories with classic batman characters (hugo strange, julie madison, sal maroni, etc.)
the long halloween - pretty good mystery/suspense tale, beautiful art, features the origin of twoface along with appearances from other batman villains (joker, falcone, catwoman); if you like this one, you should also check out dark victory, which is by the same creative team and deals with the origin of the first robin, tho i haven't read it myself yet
batman: year 100 - an elseworlds story featuring a batman who reappears in the near future and is hounded by military police in gotham city, vibrant, expressive art, great side characters
grant morrison's batman run - this might be a little hard to get into if you're not too versed with batman's universe, but it's such an amazing adventure, the first arc of the story deals with batman finding out he has a son (damian) who was mothered by talia al ghul and trained by the league of assasins, and he takes this 8 year old under his wing in order to change his perspective for the better; there are too many tpbs of the story to list, so jus google grant morrison batman reading order if you are interested; this is hands down my favourite batman story

>Whatever happened to the caped crusader?
>All Star Batman and Robin (I assume this comic was a parody of some sort, too comedic to be serious)
>Batman Year One
>The Long Halloween

Oh my god that is the first time I've heard anyone mention Lars and the Real Girl, well done, good sir.
I think it's highly underrated film. It's great how the film takes such a seedy premise and makes this really sweet movie that highlights things like empathy, community, and human decency.
Actually this was one of the movies we watched, which is strange because it was so low key and not action adventure, but it had Ryan Gosling in it so its all good haha

That's why they have different names, because it's different machines...
Of course, talk is easy with hindsight. But, now you know...

So then what are we arguing about?
All im saying is that it didnt have to do that
We're not going to start talking in circles now, are we. Yes, the PS3 "had to do that" since it was built with the instructions to wipe its hard drive when that hard drive has been removed, added to a Windows machine and then plugged into the PS3 again...
I have the same thing with a decoder for digital TV from Belgacom (Belgian phone company which also provides Internet and HD TV). That decoder contains an easy to remove 500GB hard drive to record TV programs. That hard drive reacts the same way. When removed and plugged into a Windows machine and then put back in the decoder, the decoder wipes the hard drive clean and reformats it through online software...
Only difference is that I first informed myself about the hows and whats of that decoder. I still took it out since there was nothing on the drive I would miss if it got wiped...
Ok so whats your point?
There's no benefit of removing your customer's data, especially in a personal device like a console
