Agreed, you dont have to like them but you have to respect them.

Other than that I would say Alaska.

ALASKA FTW!!!

What was Alaska doing during the cold war? Their grand empire should have been able to take down those commies. They're only a Bering Strait away.

What do you mean? We were the coldest. :?

GeOW 2 seems to be just like the first, a casual game in the disguise of a hardcore. Ive played it and I have to admit, it has a pretty intresting story line and there are moments that make it shine, but after a month or so its just dull and repetitive, a 6-hour campaign only goes so far. Dont get me started on the multiplayer either. It was ok at first but then the game was just exploited and noobified to the extreme. From the "tactics for dummies" to the "balancing" that makes everyone have a shot at winning, the game has really just taken a turn for the worse.

Far Cry 2 on the other hand seems to really stand out. The game will be a success IMO because of the freedom they put into it. It attracts casuals and hardcores alike. A casual can just put it on easy and go around shooting things while the hardcores can jack up the difficultie and explore every inch of the 50 Sq kilometers and use their brain to take out their enemies. While not much has been said about it, it seems to be shaping up to be a great game.

Dont get me wrong, I love my Xbox and Gears, but I dont think it deserves all the hype.

And when the PS3 releases it will walk right into Halo 3.

Remember that. Im excited about gears, but the PS3s line up beats it easily.

Haze, Killzone 2, SOCOM, MGS4, Resistance 2 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Gears 2, Fable 2

Eothein

So first post eh? And already starting flame wars?

I'm sensing huge potential here man....

"Much anger I sense in him."

That or it's an alt account.

Still none of those games listed have had their predecessors garner near the succes of Gears in terms of sales, reviews etc.

****, you can use the force. :D
