The kid at the gamestop I go to hadn't even heard of it. He's like I've got 2 copies, whats it like? I explained to him what all the reviews have been saying, and he got pretty amped up. I bought one and he bought the other, lol.

Ive been playing for a few hours and die a lot. I haven't gotten to any save points. How do you save the game?
I don't think having a 10 year life cycle means they won't come out with a PS4 until 10 years after the ps3 came out, which was2006. The Ps2 came out in 2000. I think by having a "10 year life cycle", sony means they will keep making them and supporting them for 10 years, not pump out a new console every 10 years. As you can see, there were only 6 years between ps2 and ps3. I think 2012 would be a reasonable guess, considering Sony's track record.
I just checked that site out, what a great idea. I read some reviews and it really opened my eyes as to how much different gaming experiences are for those that are hearing impaired. Like in the "Bad Company" review, which I just finished playing, the reviewer talks about how you miss all the dialogue and conversation back and forth between the characters and the player. It must be incredibly frustrating to watch a character talking to you and not have a clue whats going on. I think Im going to make a donation to the site to help keep it going. This is something I never even would have thought about, the developers really should put subtitles in all games. If I were deaf and shell out 60 bucks for a game, I want to be able to have as much of the experience as possible, not just the visuals.

Cop. Fun isn't it?
I just bought it a couple of weeks ago, because I loved 1943 so much. I love it so far, and as far as "newbies" getting slaughtered, Im typically in the top 3 everytime I play, and I've probably only got 9 or 10 hours online so far.
Back in my college days I would put the beer tabs or caps from bottles in my pocket, then count them the next day. It was a pretty good system for explaining my head the following morning.
I bought a standard transmission Nissan Frontier brand new in 2004 right off the lot. It's fun for a few weeks, but you grow tired of it. Especially in traffic jams.
