Dont forget to include the download time, if the update comes out in 3 hours, and im willing to bet it will take at least 2 hours to download the beta, it will be almost midnight here before i can even start playing.
this beta is to test the multiplayer and networking not to be solely for our amusement. They dont have to extend the beta if they dont want to, but im inclined to think they will because of their screw up.
chill out- screw that. As far as i'm concerned this constitutes as breach of contract. I brought crackdown with the understanding that I would be playing Halo 3 on a certain day for a certain period of time. Now M$ and bungie want to rescind their part of the bargain after i've already spent $60 on the garbage known as crackdown? Breach. of. Contract. Do you even know what a contract is?? On the box of Crackdown it said "includes invite to Halo 3 Public Beta which will be released at a later date." Does it give any specific time? No , all it says is you will be able to play the halo 3 beta, which you will.
People who took off of work or school for this have their priorities in the wrong order. Its a game people, one you have about a month to play, so why does 1 extra day make a difference?? I would never think of taking off work or school just to get a game first. Money > Games
