No, it's really not. In fact, I'd go so far as to say you have no idea what wit is. You're equating wit with the ability to use humor within a set of restrictions, and that's not what it is at all. There are plenty of users who do and did joke in a way that skirted the ToU who arewittier than anyone on OT right now.

Threads like this always turn out to be ridiculous for a variety of reasons.

1. People try too hard to be edgy, confrontational, and aloof but end up just being obnoxious (I'm looking at you, CocoMarshmellow).
2. Every third thread around here turns into RC after a certain point.
3. Because of that, people spend several pages complaining about that, which also is annoying itself.
4. People try to lighten the mood by posting the same annoying images.
5. People stand around fishing for compliments for the entire duration of the thread.
