[QUOTE="Sigh_han"]

Without getting into sadomasochism, this is what i've come up with.

There's a quote i remember reading, "we accept the love we think we deserve".

Basically, individuals will put up with abuse and/or abusive partners due to their own feelings of self worth. People with low self-esteem will feel that they need to settle for what they have because they don't deserve anything better.

So girls that are with guys that mistreat them and guys with girls that mistreat them are basically insecure and have low self-esteem.

*snaps out of serious mode"

no_more_fayth

that explains me letting you dominate me.

:o

Are you saying that Sigh_Han is only worth the love of a submissive e-creep? Are you?

Because women are the worst. So many nice guys out there who would do ANYTHING for these girls, but no they want the ugly jerk with no future who mistreats them. I cant even tell you how many girls I know are like this.

VendettaRed07

[QUOTE="DarkChiefGaiden"][QUOTE="CocoMarshmellow"] I don't think I can think of a single instance in my life where any girl I knew has dated a guy in order to see if she could change him.Rekunta

I don't think he meant they date them with that intent but during the relationships if there are bad habits that develop or that weren't that obvious in he beginning, instead of ending the relationship they hope that hey can positively influence the person into changing. I've seen that happen with many of my friends.

Exactly, well put.

Ah, that makes much more sense. :)

Doesn't mean it doesn't happen. I'm sure there are many girls out there who see some guys as a challenge.

Oh, I'm sure it's happened at least a few times... But I don't see how you could place it as a major cause for women dating "bad" guys.

Most of the people I know don't even realize that it's possible to play modern video games on the computer. It's ridiculous.

God, I'm so tired of guys saying they can't get a girl because they are "nice". Utter bull****. Stop blaming the world for your own inadequacies (not directed at anyone in particular btw).

I have to agree. As much as I love HD gaming and whatnot, I find myself spending MUCH more time with my N64 and Super Smash Bros!
