Mass effect will AAA but it doesn't have the slightest chance at a 10.whocares9

With Tony Hawk 3 getting a 10, who knows what can happen.

I've got a quad core @ 2.4 ghz w/ a 8800 GTX, but I'm getting constant 60+ FPS at max settings (incl. 16x AF), @ 1680x1050. Here's an action pic as proof, so it's not like I'm just standing looking at a wall and getting high fps (on bottom right):

If Hl episode 3 was found as an unlockable in The Orange Box, people would bump up the rating to 10.

IMO, the best bet right now would be Mass Effect or Dragon Age, maybe Crysis.

EDIT: Okay, I understand. Let me revise this a bit

Say I wanted to keep my old monitor, speakers, kb+m. Now, will $1000 be enough money to get supplies to run Crysis on high?

Ok first off:

1) Half-Life 2 was 9.2 right? Halo 2 was 9.6? Half-Life 2 won Shooter of the year = your point on scores void.

2) Half-Life 2's Campaign along with the 2 episodes is much better than Halo 3's ... infact jsut counting the episodes it is just as long as Halo 3 , and once agian so much better designed and interesting.

3) Portal ... puzzle? so? its still an FPS action game, is hilarious and challanging ... Halo was challengless throughout , just complete run and gun.

4) TF2 ... only 6 maps ... so what? the 9 classes are not un-original unless you count the previous games, they are good in thier own ways , the game is very very fun, 6 maps is temporary but tbh I dont need more because they are good, and theres already more on the PC version anyway....

5) Halo 3 is a shiny Halo 2, MP map-wise its worse, the objective modes are **** , 4 vs 4 is the copmmon average, there is absolutely no weapon balanced in team doubles , large team slayer desert map is crap and so are the elephants, what a waste of time.

Halo 3's online is jsut a series of "minigame" battles with bad weapon balance and noob friendly "Tag your dead" gameplay... most people have more melee kills than anything :lol: ... "teh shooter".

Who cares? i bet when it comes out for the ps3 it will have new online modes.. and of COURSE better graphics.. ps3 takes time to develope

The producer of the Orange Box himself said that the ps3 version will probably be inferior.
