Schindler's List, but not in the way that horror movies are disturbing.

[QUOTE="poovine"]You know at neogaf you get banned if you cite vgcharts.AvIdGaMeR444

Why?  Because Neogaf gets its wittle feelings hurt by a website with stats that don't match their own:lol:

Maybe neogaf feels threatened by a website with competition.  Banning users for using another site's figures

Or maybe vgcharts just isn't an accurate site. Ever take that one into account?

All I'm seeing is a rereleased movie which has nothing to do with the actual game.

360 fans are just mad there going to be out sold by a weaker system .deadmeat59

Weaker systems have outsold the most technically impressive systems for the last few gens now. I hardly call that a surprise, since the DS and ps2 won their respective generations.

So far, the only thing that people have seen of killzone 2 is a CGI trailer. Prepare to be let down when the killzone 2 beta has subpar graphics, like halo 3's beta. Even if the retail kz2 actually manages to look like the CGI trailer, the beta graphics will look much worse than the actual product.

I'm pretty sure that xbox 360's aren't packaged in with every single PC sold... although that would be pretty awesome if a pc could play 360 games.

Hardcore lemmings told us how great the mediocre filled 360 lineup was with half assed Rare efforts like PDZ & Kameo, when they were really waiting over a year for GeOW.    Now that game has gone & passed, they are patiently waiting again for their only other decent game they'll get this gen in Halo 3: Downgrade.

Now from my short experience on SW's, I have seen lemmings acting worse than cows, by condemning their actions, whislt in the same breath, doing exactly what they vilified the cows for doing.   Then they hit the all time low, by proclaiming that they are doing it as a revenge act.....instead of just admitting freely that they are just the same rabid fanboy as these cows, the only difference being the brand name they wear on their heart sleave.

If you lemmings wish to claim ownage with things like xbl being the better selling point for 360...I think you need to research the facts better.   You say casuals won't pay $499 or $599 for a PS3, but then seem to think that casuals will pay $399 for a system & also pay a yearly $50 subscription for an online service they really are oblivious to for anything but gaming.  So in the real world sense, wouldn't casuals be more sold on a system that is a one time, one off payment, that is straightforward to use for what consoles were meant for....gaming.       Casuals really don't care for all that friends crap, chat, & all the other non gameplay enhancing features....I myself, as a hardcore console gamer, really don't care about the bells & whistles either....It's nice for a "gloating" standpoint, but in nearly all cases I, & the majority, never use it.     Half the fun of playing online, is to play against people you don't know, so friends lists are irrellevent for me, along with alot of the other features that some people hold in such high esteem.

and don't even get me started on achievement points & how toss that joke is.   If games aren't fun enough to play extensively online or off, then they are not worth my money.        You waitboxers have been playing half baked games for too long for achievement points.....That is sad & shows that MS has dangled a rotten carrot in your faces, to keep you appeased until one other worthwhile game arrives on your console of choice.      It saddens me that Sony are implementing this trophy crap, to allow the same kind of new age gamer mentality, to get in the way of actually being able to play truly great games, simply because they are fun.

End of rant....Close massive wall of text.

Roy_Drage

1. Someone didn't realize how many good games the 360 actually got at launch. It got a great amount of high AA games, including Kameo (you call it half-assed, but it outscored every ps3 launch game), PGR3, call of duty 2, and PD0 (we know it deserved AA instead of AAA).

2. don't call Halo 3 a downgrade when they haven't even finalized the graphics. Would you rather get a beta with subpar graphics so that people can help test the game and voice their opinion about it, or would you just want a game to not have a beta and have terrible online gameplay?

3. We just have to accept that there are annoying fanboys for all systems. There isn't a certain group who's the "worst."

4. Considering oneself a "hardcore gamer" sort of kills the rant.

5. You don't like to play online with friends? I thought the whole point of playing online was making new friends and playing with friends without them having to go to your house.

6. You probably don't own a 360, so you don't know just how addicting achievement points are. Lemme give you a hint, they're so addicting that sony wanted to rip them off and use them. Also, the points give new meaning to play some games that I wouldn't find myself playing much. ...and if you don't like achievement points, you don't have to go "achievement farming" like some people do. They're completely optional, but I bet you can't get a game without wanting to unlock most of its achievements.

Yeah, my rant is also done.

[QUOTE="septicvirus"][QUOTE="Adrian_Cloud"]

Playstation 3 has blu-ray, tilt, free online,1080p,Hdmi. Alot of great features that 360 doesn't offer out of the box(well some now, if you go elite).

Adrian_Cloud

Please stop. BLU-RAY? This is a videogame forum (talk about a trojan horse!). Tilt?? will it ever be a deciding factor in fun? Free online? Yeah, tell that to games like Virtua Tennis 3. 1080p? I am no expert but I think the 360 has more games running native 1080p (just the fact that this is debatable ruins its authenticity as an argument), HDMI???? please. Don't try and scramble too far from games to justfy your purchase, you might hurt your brain.

Blu-ray vs DVD9. GTA IV perfect example. Except ownage and move on.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you've played the final version of GTA4 and seen the reviews for it to decide which version is better...

And, by the way, you spelled "accept" wrong.

With 1 billion dollars in losses, something that took out ALL of sony's profits and gave them a $630 million loss for the WHOLE company, how could sony possibly do anything to the price but raise it?

We all know f@h greatly enhances everyone's gaming experience... oh wait, I'm thinking of a good library of games.
