BF1942 expansion packs are MUCH higher quality than Battlefield 2. Battlefield 1942 had a ridiculous amount of content compared to BF2+Expansions.
A majority of the bugs in bf2 were a direct result of the product being rushed to release and poor testing.
I'm glad that EA is working on changing, but I was trying to explain why EA is such a poor company in my eyes. They have yet to earn my trust. They could have with Crysis and failed.
Mass Effect was a plus for them and I SERIOUSLY hope they don't rush or milk the sequel to that game.
BF2 came out like 3 years ago. That was EA in the past. And Crysis isn't a good example, since EA didn't interfere with the development of Crysis at all.Thats the only problem with PC gaming, if you loose a disk your basically screwed over. I love just having one disk like the consoles do. But i guess there are more benifits from having mroe then one disk.DarxPhilWell, Quake 4 is several years old now, and back then games came on CD's, and a 5GB game comes on 4 CD's. With current-day PC gaming, this isn't as much as a problem, since most games can fit onto a single DVD, with digital distribution you don't need discs at all.
Yeah, all these crazy theories are actually backed up by mathematics, so no faith is required. Just because you don't understand it doesn't make it any less true.[QUOTE="Colonel_Cool"]what faith? They did some advanced experimental mathemetics and the results they got suggested that. Faith requires assumption, which mathemetics are not. The scientific component would be the mathematics involved.munu9
Actually, since it's all theoretical and can't be proved by conventional testing. It is basically faith in a sense. At least this universe before our theory
Although it can't be proved with conventional testing, it has been shown to at least be physically possible. Because of this, there is nothing "illogical" about it.[QUOTE="SegaGenesisfan"]what faith? Just because you don't understand it doesn't make it any less true."Using a theory called "loop quantum gravity," a group led by Penn State professor Abhay Ashtekar has shown that just before the Big Bang occurred, another universe very similar to ours may have been contracting. According to the group's findings, this previous universe eventually became so dense that a normally negligible repulsive component of the gravitational force overpowered the attractive component, causing the universe to "bounce" apart. This big bounce is what we now know as the Big Bang. The group published its analysis in the April 12th issue of Physical Review Letters."
Seriously, that takes faith to believe there was a universe before ours.... I guess I am one with little faith, how did they find that other universe? Am I missing something, it sounds like they are getting scientifically mytholic.
You guys dont even try really, I mean you cant even explain in your own words. There was nothing scientific about sayying there was a second universe that somehow collasped on itself and created a new universe?
