I'd say the original Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six.thusaha
You don't see your gun model in r6, but it has crosshairs that simulate how accurate your aim is.

wait for black mesa source if it ever comes... Zombie Panic Source is also goodpurple_MAN1832
We're all waiting a looong time for that one. Anyway, I would recommend Cave Story and Freespace 2 (especially this) as mentioned above. As for Source mods, I have had a lot of fun with the Eternal Silence beta 3. Also on Gametap you can play Psychonauts and Deus Ex for free, as well as some other games.

Medium-low settings would be my guess.

I'll check it out, but I have a feeling that Giant Bomb won't be so great. Jeff Gerstman was one of my least favorite reviewers on GS and I don't think he'll be any different on Giant Bomb. GS sucks now though, so it's worth checking out.

I would definitely go with The Witcher, unless you don't like RPG's. Definitely not a "meh" game.

Company of Heroes would in my opinion be the better choice. Truly one of the greatest rts game in existence. Starcraft is a classic and great for its time, but is a bit dated now if you haven't played it before.

[QUOTE="KRYPTONiZE"]No to sex because she might have HIV. But YEAH, i'd make out with her.KRYPTONiZE

ever heard of condoms?

i know FOR SURE i wouldn't have sex with a girl that has HIV even WITH a condom.

its not like you would know. So you are saying you wont have sex with a girl unless she gives you her medical record?

well, i'm the kinda guy that meets with a girl and actually gets to know her and have some sort of relationship with her before i have sex.

You're a sick man.

1. Combat shotgun with ammo belt

2. Flamethrower duct taped to a minigun, also with ammo belt

3. Cigars to make me look more badass

Dear God yes.

System Shock 2 turns into BioShock.

Rogue Spear turns into Vegas.

Morrowind turns into Oblivion.

And Fallout 3. Then there's Fallout 3.

Ubisoft is systematically killing every good games series it ever owned by pandering to the console masses, or just building their PC games as an afterthought

Gears of War and its terrible and restricting cover system has infected PC gaming. The kiddy shield health system from Halo (which is admittedly occasionally good in some variants) is infesting our finest shooters.

Resident Evil 4, a third person shooter is not mouse compatible.

We're seeing FPS games built for consoles, we're seeing popular game engines built for consoles. The PC is practically an afterthought.

What's next? What is next?

If Monolith can deliver a great game with Project Origin, a game which is clearly oriented - to an extent, at least - to console gamers, my faith will be restored. But Jimminy Christmas things are going from bad to worse. That's not to say there aren't also tons and tons of super duper awesome games coming out, many of which are multiplatform titles, but man, the ideals of PC gaming of the late nineties and early noughties at dying a little bit every day with this next-gen crap.

smerlus

Umm System Shock 2 didn't turn into Bioshock... Only 1/2 of the dev company that made System Shock worked on Bioshock and the fact that they didn't own the rights to System Shock had them come up with a totally new IP that shares similarities but was never meant to be system shock 3.

Rainbow Six sales were decreasing with every single release they made on both PC and console by sticking to the same formula game after game. Did you expect them to keep churning out titles like this and continue to lose money or reinvent themselves for some money?

Morrowind was ported over to consoles and saw great success just the way it was on PC... Oblivion sold well on consoles and PC despite being dumbed down. So how are you only going to blame 1/2 of the gaming populace that bought the game?

And then you list a game that hasn't come out yet where i destroyed every argument you made about it in another topic.

Gears of War has a great cover system unless your opinion weighs more than the majority of critics and gamers. Like finding medkits laying around everywhere is a great alternative to regeneration... they're both equally absurd.

Ubisoft did a terrible port of a Capcom game... it happens.

Anyways it seems that most of the benefits of PC gaming is hurting software sales. With better technology comes easier pirating. With deeper and longer lasting games comes the probability that you won't go game hopping as soon as a new title comes out. Better graphics, faster cpu's over all better hardware equals more development time...

All of these cost businesses money and you guys must have forgot that the reason people start businesses is to make money.

1. The devs did say they were making the spiritual successor to SS2. It was a blatant copy/paste of SS2 only dumbed down.

2. Sales may not have been great, but that doesn't change the fact that the game series got dumbed down, which is very disappointing to fans of the series.

3. It was still dumbed down to cater to the console audience, and many fans of the series were disappointed.

4. Looking from what we have seen, we don't really need to play the game to know it's Oblivion with guns, and not a true Fallout game.

5. Haven't played the game, no comment.

6. Bad PC ports, another reason why devs focusing on consoles as their main platform hurts the PC audience.

7. Pirating occurs on consoles too, and piracy on PC is used mainly as a scapegoat for poor sales. See Crytek and Epic.
