It probably won't happen. Though I don't have proof, there is no proof that there is. Right now, they're taking a different approach. The hardcore crowd isn't their main market at this point, as they're taking a extreme approach to the casual crowd, like Wii Music. Fer example, E3 '08 (BOOOO!).The only good thing that was announced was WiiSpeak and Motion Plus, but then there's Animal Crossing. It's Nintendo's own game and they're not putting in motion controls, and it has a graphical update, but not all the different from the GC and DS games. AC has so much potential but they're just leaving it where it is now. To me, that shows they're not really taking the hardcore seriously. Didn't mean to go on a slightly off topic rant, but I got a $250 console collecting dust.
They did say that the Zelda team's working on something, but that something may or may not be Zelda. 'Least they're making Pikmin.
Gettin' new computer, pre-built (to my dismay), has integrated graphics, great Athlon 64 X2 6000+ (or something, 3GB RAM, average power supply, Windows Vista and such. I think the PC is and HP brand model m8200n. Integrated isn't gonna cut it, so I get a video card for christmas. Problem is, I tried putting a card in my computer, but I failed and returned it back to Circuit City and got a Wii instead. I'm gonna get a Geforce 8600 GTS and a power supply, but I need steps to do it for when I need to do it.
Little help? I dun wanna screw up on a brand new computer... I've had this PC for about 4-5 years, so I'm completely in the dark about everything...
I've seen Crysis run on a 64MB video card on a laptop with an everything low setting. Could I get something a little more detailed?
This computer'll have:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual-core processor 6000+ 3.0GHz
System Memory (RAM) 3GB
I'm gonna get a Vista computer, pretty fast stuff from the demo PC at Best Buy. I'm just gonna keep my XP PC here so that way me and my bro and sis can enjoy the wonders of a slow XP PC and an amazingly fast Vista PC.
But to answer your question (without any basis of knowledge about Vista) I'd say go for the Vista. Sooner or later the XP to Vista switch is gonna be more forced sometime in the future, so go ahead and switch. I'm sure they'll work out some more bugs as we get updates.
