As much as I love Dark Souls, and hate to say anything negative about it, I agree: the port was seriously terrible. After playing the PS3 version, I got the PC content wanting to experience it there and I just ended up using the controller anyway because reformatting everything yourself, not only was nightmarish, but at least in my experience it kept resetting again and it wasn't worth it to keep changing around the keys to fit a setup without using the controller.

@mrgorgun You should save the money and buy yourself a violin instead.

@AjenoMerveilles I commend you for sticking with it. When Dark Souls came out, I had already been acquainted with Demon's Souls for years and played through numerous NGs. When I played Dark Souls, I loved how the game just drops you into the world and you fend for yourself. There's not really any story to it, or any forgiving introduction; it's just that, and perfect.

I was afraid it would repel newer gamers that weren't familiar with is gameplay and difficulty, but I'm glad it hasn't done that as much as I feared.

@Beastcake @Conscrumptured @Skyrim25 That's not even enough ground to cover what they massively ruined and, again, made no efforts to repair. And discussing it now is a waste of time because they've said they're not returning to it, so why even bother.

@Skyrim25 EA and BioWare made no efforts to listen to the majority of fans about ME3, and that doesn't really surprise. Which is why we're here reading an article about them being the worst company. Go figure.
