Here is a link to the trailer for Witches, a new title from revistronic:

http://www.lacreaterie.es/witches/

You might not recognize the background music until about halfway through. This instrumental music is not specific to this game. I have heard it several times before, most recently in some trailer for a sci-fi space film that I can't remember. Does anyone know what this music is originally from?

I can't dowload the update either. It does the exact same thing as everyone has been saying, and I've tried all the tips people have given. The other problem is that I can't download it from the sony website either. Everytime I try to download it onto a USB drive, something I have never had a problem with before, it aborts as well. Every other website I have visited gives me no problems.

I think different people have different reasons for liking final fantasy games. I know some gamers feel that the turned based action slows the game down, but I've always felt that in other games where the action plays out in real time everything gets reduced to frantic button mashing. Turn based battle often requires a lot of strategy and thinking ahead.

However, my main reason for liking final fantasy games is the story. FF games have consistently had some of the best storylines in gaming. If a game has a great story I can overlook other less than stellar aspects. I prefer to fight to save a kingdom or recover an important relic rather than just to get a high score.

But to each his own. People are attracted to different aspects.

Why do so many people want a remake of FF7? Wouldn't you rather Square put their energy into developing new games? An FF7 remake would have awesome graphics and great gameplay but the story would still be the same. Since the story is what everyone talks about when they discuss the greatness of FF7, and we all already know how the story plays out, what's the point of a remake? Now, an FF7 SEQUEL...interesting...

I think one of the issues is simply that not all gamers play online or even chat or interact with other people online, myself included.  When Harrison said that he would be making a big announcement that would please all of the ps3 fans, I was hoping it had something to do with games.  The proposed Home service looks like something that I am sure many people will enjoy, but since I prefer a single player gaming experience I can honestly say that I will probably not use Home.  I just can't see myself sitting for hours on end interacting with people through a virtual universe when I can just head out to a bar and do it for real.  Simply put, it will please a lot of people, but there are still many gamers who, annoyed with the big move towards online gaming, were hoping for something else.

Yeah, what a great selection.  How could I pass up the chance to own Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room in glorious 1080p?!

Something about that ad reminds me of "Mulholland Drive."
