@helldragonzer: We aren't really fan boy clowns as you say, mind you there are lots of zealots out there that are for star citizen, as well for zealots who are against it, but mostly those who support it are people who truly want to see it succeed, like myself. Others want to see it destroyed.... and that really blows my mind because this game if people truly support it could change the way big time publishers make games, because now a days the big boys are cookie cutting games and not being very creative, there are so many limitations in the industry, if this game succeeds and becomes popular it might change that. which is good for us and the gaming industry in general.

@brother451: Of course they are bug ridden like crazy, they are developing the game before your very eyes with updates and patches, don't be surprised with the bugs that is expected. I have watched this game grow from the ground up and i can see the progress in bug fixing, if you keep telling yourself the game is going to fail you will just keep lowering any expectation and support you may have for the game, there are more then 1.5 million people who have backed this game so far with 122 million dollars raised, and the number continues to rise because plenty of people want to see this succeed, complaining and doubting is not going to help.

You will see this in 3.0 and it will be playable and the bugs will be fixed as time progresses as they build the game, every AAA game goes through this process the only difference is they don't let you openly experience it with them like star citizen does, mark my words you will see this is 3.0 in fact they are revealing even better stuff at citizen con in October, have faith man and support the game... if this game succeeds it will change the gaming industry forever and big time publishers don't want that because they want to keep cookie cutting games and dripping the people of money.

@brother451: The game for me doesn't crash every five minutes, i can play for hours without a crash so its your problem and not everyone elses.

@brother451: Its not smoke and mirrors at all, that is actually what we are going to get in 3.0 update, all of what you saw we will be able to do, how is that smoke and mirrors? i have had some pretty epic moments just in the alpha im playing now.

@esqueejy: You do realize the story squadron 42 single player is being released before the multiplayer right? all with the lore of the game and a story telling factor right? did you do any research of that at all? or are you just blindly and ignorantly hating of a game you know nothing about?

No one said this was a major update, its just an update, don't know why you gamespot clowns put quotations on it.
