The Dell you want to order comes with 8300grphx--- 17" monitor and 667mhz RAM. You could build your system for the same$$$ with a intel 6600---8600GTS $160--- bigger monitor at least 19" $150---- and DDR2 800mhz $80 from newegg.

So WTF are YOU talking about?

1. Was your system running bad before or after Vid Card/PWSupply upgrade?

2. MB maybe too old too handle Processor Vid card load

3. System is probably running too hot. 8800gts runs extremely hot. Your old Dell case might not be suited for your vid card/Cpu beast. Add more fan cooling to your case that disspates heat from the case

what is the capacity of the drive? If you are nearing capacity then it would run slow.

Looks like he's going for speed as it's a Raptor. I'd go with a larger Hitachi as they aren't that much slower and offer close enough speeds.

Personally I wouldn't touch that LCD... And the MB should already come with 2 SATA cables. The HSF looks iffy to me at that price as well, it's almost better to stick with the stock unit unless you spend around $40+
