You should check the system requirements to see what you would need to run The Sims 3.

I think that has to do with WoW not synching well with the servers.

7.2 on the Processor and RAM, 6.8 on Graphics and 5.9 on my Hard Drive.

I like GFWL, but it could use some more support by bringing more old games just to compete with steam.
