I see all the time people complain about games being too short, but how about too long, many games have been so long I grew tired of them and never finished like Oblivion etc. As long as a game has great gameplay and not repetitive, I say short is better, because a long game will get repetitive not matter how good, and most people will give up.
I am not a deluded Halo fanboy who thinks Halo 3 will be perfect, of course it won't. People this is the flagship title for 360 there ain't done bigger and if anyone thinks this game is just gonna be Halo 2 with better graphics, you need to wake up and realise this game is gonna blow the competition away. All we have seen of Halo 3 so far is the bare bones of the MP game, trust me when we see all the new stuff in it it will make Halo 2 look like well, Halo 1 in comparison.
I think this is very possible and I'll tell you why, first of all Bungie have'nt been rushed this time and that means lot's of polish. Also an almost unlimited budget and a huge, talented and experienced dev team make this I think a dead cert for GOTY and a contender for best game this generation, what do you think?.
If you all read what the GTA guy said you will realise that both the 360 and PS3 are creating problems for them, it just so happens that one of the problems for the 360 is the absence of a Hard drive. This will been the 360 version will stream the data off the disc instead of off the Hard drive, however the DVD9 CD Drive for the 360 is much faster than the Bluray drive for the PS3 so this will not be a problem.
Looking at this game it goes beyond what the NG consoles can do, which is kinda sad as I want it bad. I've got this feeling that this game is gonna be delayed alot as its a victim of its own ambition, kinda like games of the past like Doom 3, Half life 2 etc which seem so ahead of other games but get delayed until that lead is reduced to nothing.
You all know me you know I tell it the way it is, the war of the consoles, this year is the most important, who ever wins, wins the whole damn thing. The two biggest releases of the year are coming to 360 Gta and HALO, THATS WHY WE ARE GONNA WIN THIS TIME.
