No offense, but I don't usually add people on Steam or (now) Origin. Sowwy :( I never really had friends who had a PC AND the games I played so 'multiplayer' always meant 'going over to someone's house and playing.' BF2 was the only game I talked to people in (short commands) and nowadays the video games I play are more of a 'me' thing (e.g. campaigns/single player). I was never comfortable talking on a mic, anyway xD As for the recommendations, Saints Row looks too similar to GTA and I never caught on. Not to mention the (likely huge) map size for both games. Fallout 3 is probably a lot more immersive than those two games, but I could easily spend 300+ hours in the GOTY edition of Fallout 3 with it's gigantic map. I'm also a so-called 'completionist' so that factors into it, as well. I need games like the Mass Effect series that only took ~80 hours each to fully complete. Assassin's Creed seemed OK, if not a bit repetitive. I'd rather just look up a summary of those games (the 'reality' portion, anyway). As for the Dragon Age series, I already have Mass Effect (both from BioWare, obviously). I feel like that would be similar to my Bethesda stint: a friend showed me Fallout 3 first and then Oblivion and I just couldn't get into it. I will always choose a dystopian future or science fiction over "Lord Of The Rings"-esque gameplay. I will, however, check out Dark Souls (been hearing about it nonstop - thanks for the tips, as well) and Darksiders. My PS3 friend has Dishonored and that looked decent so I could bug him about that. As for Torchlight 2, I'm not sure how I feel about point-and-click games (dungeon crawlers, RPGs, hack-and-slash, or whatever they're called). In truth, I have yet to play Diablo 2 because I heard they took a different direction from the first game (which will forever be the best point-and-click, in my opinion). You can't edit your posts with italics, bold, etc? Meh... Anyway, thanks a ton for the help, thus far!add me we can talk n play n stuff (see sig)
