Sarcasm, or just stupidity? My 9500 GT, which is a budget card, can run the game on high 1650x1080, I just got on fallout 3, got on fraps, and it was day time on fallout 3. I explored around and found that my FPS was mostly 40-50. Fallout 3 needs a decent card, but doesn't require a monster card to run.
It's odd that your 8800GT lags. My 9500 GT OVer clocked can play Fallout 3 with high settings, AF 8x with with 30-40 + FPS. So I think this is a problem... 1650x1080 No AA though.
