Repetitious gameplay isn't uncommon. In fact... it's the most common issue. Of course that said... Life is repetitious also; Wouldn't you say?

The game is still looking good and I'm highly anticipating it's release. If Square has to start pulling content then I'll start to worry.
SONY isn't going to showcase multi-plat titles. That's for the developer to do. All but two of those titles mentioned are multi-plat. EDIT: Sorry missed Motorstorm.then why not stuff like assassins creed, uncharted, motorstorm, cod 4 and 5

[QUOTE="Cross-Edge"]TESIV: O wasn't my cup of tea either; which is strange because I LOVE FO3.Scianix-Black
AAAAHHH!!! You're just the person I need to talk to!
I hated Oblivion, it was insanely boring, but I have a bunch of people on my PSN friends list telling me to get FO3 because it's really good.
What has changed in Fallout that makes it so different from Oblivion? The main reason I hated Oblivion was because there were so many quests and they were all so long that it was hard for me to get immersed in it... I would just wander around the world bored.
Did you have the same problem and do you think it'll be the same with FO3?
Interestingly enough the games are essentially the same; difference being atmosphere, and settings. There's additional features such as V.A.T.S. that helps to make a world of difference. V.A.T.S. in a nutshell is "Bullet Time". What makes V.A.T.S. shine is that you can target different locations on an opponent and it'll display a percentage which is a hit and miss ratio. Once you've selected the location it pans around to a cinematic camera and you watch the action unfold. It all happens within a matter of seconds. You either hit or miss. It's gratifying if you're aiming for an extremity and blow it off. That's just one of the features that makes this game stand out against it's counterpart. Unfortunately if you're looking for a different experience you won't find it here. Traveling is the same, as are the quests. The one thing you WILL notice though is that FO3 has a considerably smaller map than TESIV: O. It's a barren wasteland mind you, so there's not much to behold. In the very least though, it's worth a rental. If super mutants, guns, make shift weapons, armor, and post-apocalyptic suburbia aren't your thing then it's safe to pass. You're right![QUOTE="Cross-Edge"][QUOTE="Scianix-Black"]
Donations =/= fees.
You see, if FFXIV relied on on donations, then I'd support it, but it doesn't. It relies on a fee that you are required to pay in order to play.

Relying on donations does seem to be the route to go, but donations can only carry you so far. Think of it this way. That nominal monthly fee is ensuring you that the servers are operational, well maintained, and up-to-date not to mention it's funding the developer to develop more content. That's all I'm getting at. Otherwise you are absolutely right.
Holy crap... wait, what?
I'm... right? You gotta be screwing with my head right now... no one ever says that on the internet. Ever.
Are you a female or do you just actually understand what I'm saying? Or both? Wow, I didn't even think people like you existed on the internet... I always picture an egotistical nerd behind the other keyboard, but someone who's willing to admit when someone else is right?
I never thought I'd see the day... and don't mistake my astonishment for mockery, because it's not. Far from it.
But, I digress... I'm just not going to buy it. Fee, donation, whatever - I wasn't ever really interested in Final Fantasy XIV to begin with.
...I just like to argue.
LOL! Far be it from me to argue a point to death and at that about something that's not been confirmed or for that matter something I know so little about. I'm not a female, and I'm not an egotistical bastard on the other end. I'm not messing with you. I'm genuinely concurring. I don't like to argue unless it's something I know through and through LOL! In this case I don't, and so there's no use in arguing over it. ;)Excuse me; I don't mean ANY disrespect, but that's a weak argument. Those "free" MMO's littered throughout the internet rely HEAVILY on donations, and without these donations there wouldn't be enough finances to further support operations.[QUOTE="Cross-Edge"][QUOTE="Scianix-Black"]
And yet all these other developers can do this for free?
Square-Enix has two major blockbusters coming up in their Final Fantasy series, a bunch of mediocre games that are going to sell anyway simply because of the words"Square-Enix" on the box, a PSP Final Fantasy game, a few franchises on the DS and yet they still have the nerve to charge me $14 a month after an initial $60?
No.
DLC is fine. Even overpriced DLC, or DLC that that's hidden on the disc is better than charging me a monthly, or even annual, fee just to play the game I already bought.
