@DevilishStyles True. Changing something as heavily esablished as COD would be hard, and I'm curious how fighting drones will change this game, if it does. Drones don't exactly die quickly. What they need to do is follow the Halo gameplan: keep the formula, but change a certain aspect of it to feel new. Halo 2 had the battlerifle, 3 had equipment, Reach has armor abilities. Not gigantic changes, but enough to make it feel fresh.
I think the Flame War will be more between Roblops and Halo 4. They both come out in November, and they're both set in the future. Plus, they're both going to have huge hype campaigns.
@DevilishStyles I agree that Treyarch's stories up to this point have been much more believable, but I dont think the complaint is about the story or setting, I think it's that the gameplay is exactly the same each year, but with a few new guns. I mean, you can play MW3 or Blops and know exactly how to play COD 4 or even COD 2 and 3. Maybe Roblops will be different, because of the drones, but that's a REALLY big maybe.
