i love how everyone bashes the lag and what not. the servers have issues yes big deal they will dealt with quickly. Its like everyone forgot all about the other online multiplayers. as if they were perfect at launch with server issues....quite from the contrary. COD4 not that many issues in week 1 but week 2 when a dirty amount of people were logging on, how difficult was it to get into a game. you didnt even get a chance to experience lag, because you couldnt even join a game. Like i mentioned already warhawk server issues as well. RSV2, huge amount of issues with that game as well. GTA4 online they couldnt handle the people on their servers (granted this had a compelling single player), MGO same as GTA4 still had issues tho. Soul Caliber, when you had to attack early to attack on time because it was so laggy and i believe it still is. Burst Limit same thing couldnt focus attacks correctly, not sure if problem continues or not. Not to mention all previous Socoms had a rough start, but turned out to run like butter. Its funny how people can rag on the game because there is nothing to compare it too...all other games have made it over their rough patch and run smoothly so you cant compare them, but once slant 6 gets this over and dealt with, the game is going to be running where it should be. So 6.5 is stupid considering that some of the cons are lag and server issues, especialy when the others i have mentioned COD4 (9.0) and warhawk (8.5) had the same issues....
lol I am rank 3 right now. the ranking system is in fact working and is affected by server issues. In order to rank you must play the ranked games made by zipper as they seem to be the only ranked games. you can not create a ranked game at the moment i believe. If you can then there are certain conditions the room must have. you cannot have respawn. you have to have friendly fire. i believe those are the conditions as per my knowledge but the ranking system is working. And you do not have to be in a clan to rank i believe :)

only the elite get the beta...its not that much fun anyway. ive been playing it and its too easy. If you have played shooters before where accuracy is required you will accel at this game.
i have played socom 3 it was a little clan obsessive but i liked that lol, this one isnt yet lol...:P the gameplay is the same but a little better, there will definitely be more maps to come. I am enjoying the game a lot. but it will eventually become clan obsessive lol
Wow, almost everybody is sayin MGS 4. I really didn't care much for that game. I thought it was pretty boring. The cutscenes were far too numerous and most of them were SUPER boring.jubino
the gameplay was good the custscenes were amazing. and very needed as it was an epic end to snakes career. if you played all previous metal gears and payed attention you loved the game
