The game is pretty much defective for EVERYONE so you will have to wait for a patch or something...and that is disappointing. If you buy a on-line only game, you expect to be able to play it the day you buy it. Its not like Sony did not beta test the game, or its not like they did not expect a massive amount of people wanting to play the game... i dont understand why we have to have problems like this with a high profile game...BUT WE DO. THANKS SONY.

wow your very stupid if you think like that. the beta IS NOT TESTING SERVERS!! it is testing the gameplay of the game, the physics, how the players react with the environments, etc and the feedback from the very limited beta testers. Of course they knew they were going to get a massive amount of players. BUT they dont want to make a leap which is not necessary and determine how the servers are handling the situation and patch it up. The day i bought the game i had NO LAG and no connection problems, ive played so far about 5hrs with no problems

well lets see you have to put game data on your hdd like normal. You didnt update to 2.5 which came out last week, if you did it last week wouldnt have to do it today. files were corrupt because you had beta saves on your hdd which confilict with the new ones of the game. Servers are having trouble taking in the amount of usera coming at the same time. Which will be fixed in a week or so. When you get into a game dont expect the game to not be running already. The game asks if you want to wait in the lobby. once you get in the lobby. you can push the START button to spawn next round. dont have to sit and wait in the lobby. Because im guessing with your stupid crackhead comment that you made thats what you did. System lobby is one of the best lobbies made. If you know of a better one please tell me. There are no beginner briefing rooms yet, but there will be. There was for all previous socoms be patient. And its not one shot your dead. based on your armor and also based where your opponent is shooting you and with what gun. As for the communication you might of been in a room where no one had/a few had mics.
Wow, for the first time in a long time I completely agree with everything you said.
I was upset last night when I couldn't get connected to the network and same thing this morning. I went home at lunch just to check and it connected flawlessly! I could only play one match before I had to return to work, but it ran extremely smooth, hardly any lag. Also there's so many people using mics, that tactics are actually possible, unlike Warhawk.
Yes, exactly so what the 3rd day? and already vast improvements to the servers. And yes people communicate a lot on this game it is KEY to winning. Ive been playing since socom 2 and once you get in a clan and have clan matches you will see how intense the game gets and how communication is sooo vital
