@Utnayan: It's not embargoed, it's a multiplayer focused game and the servers went live today. They need to test the game on the servers before putting out reviews.
@savagerodent: P2P is a letdown but at the end of the day I had no issues with it in the beta.
Microtransactions are for cosmetic items and early unlocks. All content can be earned in game, if done right microtransactions can be a great way for the dev to make money (like league of legends or rainbow six siege).
It is really fun, from what I've played I found it to be very deep and engaging. Definitely one of the best sword fighting games since mount and blade.
@daddysacks: betas run on old game builds. The beta build is older than the gold build on the disc and even that doesn't have the day one update which would be considered the final revision.
@gamingdevil800: it's for people to try it out to see if they like it and maybe get some practice in before its live. Progression isn't everything, some people just play for fun.
@JustinGoSka: has RPG elements (leveling up and gear) but it's a third person sword fighting game. You lock on to enemies, pick your direction to guard and strike and use parries and guard breaks to mix it up. Theres a lot of depth to it.
@oromashu: A demo uses the live build of the game, a beta uses an earlier build. Even if it's a day before and it's on a week old version of the code, it's considered a beta. A beta is any buld before the release client.
@wtf_666: There is a campaign that can be played alone or CO OP. I'm not sure of its quality or length but what I've seen so far is pretty average. Theres definitely a MP focus here, if you want something for single player it's probably not for you.
