Looks like this is a game I will have to grade myself. Some of the things mentioned here, I don't mind. I did not like Resident Evil Racoon City. I did not even finish it. I finish almost all games I play, so for me to give up on a game it has to horrible. I hope Resident Evil 6 is not horrible. I still think #4 is the best.
Silent Hill always had good graphics. Compare some of the PS2 games such as III with even some games like GTA IV, and you will see that Silent Hill have better character graphics.
People are talking about CJ and Tommy, but those games took place in previous decades - so if V is set in current times then the previous characters would be old and fat by now. Vice City took place in the 80's!
The funny thing about all the GTA games is the protagonist is trying to start a new life, be good, then he gets drawn into doing all these bad things. We need to have a character that is genuinely bad, so as a player it makes sense to us that he is doing bad things.
What if there is no more outlets to buy used games. What about older games, is the retail outlet supposed to keep in stock "new" games that are 3,4,5,6 years old? That is a lot of games, What if I want to buy Madden 2007? a) should the game store be expected to still have a new version on its shelves? b) what would the price be for a new version of Madden 2007 that I am buying in 2011? Would it be the same price, say $2.99 that I would pay for a used version in 2011?
I can only afford to buy maybe 3 brand new games a year at $59, or $69, so I have to be really certain that it is going to be a good game, worth the cost, and have enough game hour playtime to make it worth the new price point.
