Ok, I'm a cow, and this news does not make me that excited. The price cut was expected, yes, but, is it really a price cut? When Sony launched the PS3, there was a $499 console and a $599 console. Now that the "price cut" has been announced, there's still a $499 console and a $599 console.

The XBox 360 Elite (BLACK) has 120GB of storage and a lower price than $599. Sony, I'm sorry to say this, but, are you stupid? Only 20 extra gigabytes of storage for $100 dollars more!? The 360 Elite has almost twice as much storage and costs $100 less! Sony, you could of at least upped the ante of the 120GB space! Why only 20!?!

How about 150GB!? How about 180? 300? But, come on, 20GB for only $100 more!?! Maybe Sony does deserve to lose this round! Sheesh!

PS3 is a piece of crap everybodyt wants it so they can sell it on ebay.And if they wanted it for playing games they just want the games with the good graphics the 360 is kick butt

I know the graphics are better, don't get me wrong. THey just aren't that much better like it was from n64-gamcube ps1-ps2. So really what is the big deal whith ps3/xbox 36o. I do really like lots of 360 games but really the biggest differnce is physics. Unless most games turn out to look like crysis im not really that impressed. Anyone else think the same thing?magnax1

I totally agree. Nothing on the current consoles really impresses me graphically nowdays like games that I see coming out on the PC. Well, that is, Crysis. The graphical/effects jump from Metal Gear Solid on the first PlayStation to Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty on the PlayStation 2 impressed me, but, not as much as I expected it to.

I noticed that textures were still flat when they should be 3D, that some textures looked too 'clean' when they should have more imperfections. Perfect geometry also annoys me, because not every building on earth is built perfectly. Why does every wall have to be perfectly straight, etc? There should be some crooked areas, etc. just like in real life.

Man, this is tough. With MGS4 out of the running for GOTY (Game of the Year), and now Call of Duty 4 (COD4) seemingly moving into that slot, we've got a tough one between COD4 and Crysis!
