Xbox One is more expensive than PS4. Microsoft concentrated on bundling a Kinect with every system resulting in a higher price and a reduced focus on internal hardware. The result a more expensive system with less horsepower than it's main rival. Now most people will rightly say: power doesn't mean much when it comes to sales, it's software than is the main factor. This is true, but in the early days of a console killer apps are usually thin on the ground, early adopters are more likely to be drawn in by tales of power and graphics than late adopters or casuals. So when a cheaper system comes along that is widely known to be more powerful it's bound to draw in buyers.
Don't believe MS when it comes to cloud computing. It's PR BS from MS to try and make up for the fact that technologically the Xbox 1 is not as powerful as PS4 & everyone knows it. In order for cloud computing to have any meaningful impact you are gonna need a very fast Internet connection, ultra low latency and more importantly MS will have to pour tens if not hundreds of millions of dollars into buying and maintaining the necessary amount of servers to pull it off. It's much cheaper for MS just to let the X1 have inferior graphics, most gamers aren't really going to care which system is most powerful.
The problem is they want always-on Internet connection with games to maintain DRM to stop piracy but they don't invest enough money nbthe servers to run it. They want to run it on a shoestring budget, well you can't. eA need to spend less on advertising and more on servers.
Most video games are shooter based these days. It bares no difference if the protagonist is male or female. Pointing a gun and pulling the trigger doesn't require physical strength.
review seems a bit harsh but to those asking why the Vita memory cards are so expensive the answer is simple: profit. Sony lose money on every Vita sold, it's an expensive piece of kit. so what do they do sell propriety memory cards at a premium to claw some of that money back.
