these pics DO NOT show the higher resolution images of Reach. This alone makes the comparison flawed. The higher resolution instantly makes a Reach a much better looking game. Throw in the better lighting and anti-aliasing then you'll see how much the visuals have been upgraded.
this review was pointless before it was even written, SSD drives are far from affordable & dont offer a drastic improvement unless ur shelling out for a top of the range drive which nobody will because its simply not worth it. most ppl will put up with longer loading if the alternative is shelling out hundreds if not thousands of dollars to rectify it.
i didnt buy Crackdown so i havent been able to play the Beta- but from what i hear its really good- but im told there is room for improvement- but thats what a Beta is about isnt it?
the main difference between the visuals is the resolution- the Xbox game came with low res textures viewed in 640x480. the Vista PC version has higher res textures viewed in resolutions of 1024x768 or higher.
