Killzone 3 will probably look pretty, but as far as actual game play goes there is no way it can compete with Gears 3 (assuming Gears 3 uses the same formula as the previous two installments)

I'm seriously debating buying another PS2... mine broke right before I got a Wii but I never replaced it because I thought when I got a PS3 later that year it would have b/c... then they got rid of it =/. I would buy a PS2 so I could:

1. Replay the SH series
2. Replay the MGS series
3. Play FFX (never got around to it)
4. Play Yakuza 1-2 (same as FFX)
5. Play Ico (was never able to find it in stores)
6. Finish Zone of Enders 2
7. Play Persona 3 & 4
8. Play through the .Hack G.U. series
9. Replay DMC series
10. Replay GTA: Vice City.

If these games came out on the PSN store one day, I would buy like $200 worth of PSN cards.

Anyway, I honestly don't think I am going to get the DLC... as it stands I think I'm done with this game (this game sucks now compared to what it was like near release). Not to mention I really feel as though it's not worth my money and this is coming from a guy that bought all three WAW map packs the day they came out.

I have rage-cussed quiet a few times since my SNES days (getting progressively worse as I grew up) but the first and only time I actually broke something out of rage was this gen. Got pretty pissed during a MW2 TDM that involved not only boosters but glitchers as well like two months ago and it resulted with me breaking my PS3's headset (which was one that I originally bought for my 360 but worked with my PS3 as well with a usb-adapter). I got lucky because since Christmas was right around the corner, I just asked for the official Sony headset. Only problem is I'm stuck without a 360 headset now >_>.

To this day, I own: Snes, Ps1, N64, Gamecube, Xbox, PS2, Wii, PS3, 360 (in the order I got them). I also owned a GB, GBpocket, GBA, GBA SP, original PSP, original DS.

As much as I would love for a new GTA installment taking place in Vice City, I hope to god they keep the 80's feel to it. Making it take place in modern times like GTA4 did would absolutely ruin the Vice City feel imo.

I think the franchise with the most divided fans that I have seen would be the MGS series. MGS2 divided fans by introducing a new protagonist, MGS3 split it by using a different protagonist and having a different setting, and MGS4 split the fan base yet again by making drastic changes to the main character of the series. Then there were the divisions caused by all the MGO's....

I do this a lot with games I really enjoy. This gen, I did this with:

MGS4 (Finished the entire game without skipping any cutscenes in two sittings)
Uncharted 2
Dead Space
Demon's Souls
GeOW 1&2
Dead Rising
COD4,5,6 (I always say "one more match..." then stay on for another 30 mins or so"

I also remember I used to do this A LOT with Monster Hunter Freedom on PSP and most jrpg's I used to play like FF, Breath of Fire, etc.
