My ranger is level 17 now.

Crafting is unnecessary unless you want to powerlevel through. My first character, an elementalist, didn't start crafting until he hit 80. My third, i crafted from level 30 to 60.

My asura is lvl 23 :P

And yeah, they removed those chests that spawn across the world. Not sure why though.
