LOL @ people that are for the DH. The DH sucks because it caters to what I like to call "Half ballplayers"(People that bat, but don't play the field, thus not being real baseball players and "half ballplayers". See David Ortiz) The DH is a stupid rule. Everyone should have to play a position and bat. Someone that just bats every 3 innings and then sits their fat ass on the bench while the team takes the field in no way shape or form should be called a baseball player.-Halftime-It's very rare that a pitcher establishes note worthy batting stats. You're neglecting the fact that pitchers as a whole bring little to the table offensively. You make it sound as if pitchers hitting makes for significantly greater entertainment. The DH makes the sport more fun. I'm not sure if you forgot to consider that aspect of it due to your apparent apparent frustration with the AL's incongruence with the NL's rules.

If the NL was so dominant why can't they win their all-star game?CleanPlayerWhen did i say dominant? I said real baseball, as in no DH. I can't argue with the DH rule, that rule is for pansies. It's almost as stupid as the All-star rule, whoever wins gets homefield advantage. On paper it seems like a bad idea. In reality it's brilliant. Only a very small minority of pitchers are any form of a presence in the batters box. It's pretty pathetic to see a pitcher bat actually. It's not a fluke that they can't hit as a whole either. Pitchers pretty much don't even care for batting. Letting someone bat in place for a position that will never become an offensive force is great for everyone, especially the fans. Seeing your DH bop 30 HRS or striking out the other teams big bad bat is just too much fun. Hopefully one day the NL will get it's act together.
I think the logo is fine the way it is, but if it ever does get changed, then Michael is the only logical player to be the new logo.-Halftime-Best post in this thread.
[QUOTE="Master_Live"][QUOTE="X360PS3AMD05"]Yup, it's not like the Dodgers beat them in the season series last year, no chance..........oh wait. Also this is National League talk, where they play real baseball, AL fans go home. X360PS3AMD05Oh I'm sorry, is that the same Dodgers that got killed by the Phillies 35-16 in 5 games? I'm sure Howard, Utley and Co. are shaking at the thought of facing Jonathan "The Choker" for a 3rd straight postseason and rip the hearts out of the Dodgers fanboys. Runs matter? Playing in a little league park too? You could win by one run, lose by one run, Pats fans were bragging about running up the score and they ended up losing to the Giants  The team is young, that was the first season Broxton was a closer :| Also the guy who said the Mets winning it is laughable? 2 years ago weren't they in the hunt at the end of the year? The Nationals would be laughable, but then again you never know in baseball it's unpredictable, the only thing that's laughable is Yanker fans bashing other teams, lets get a Salary cap and see how they talk. The Cards have a shot? The team that got swept? Sounds like something EastPN would say.
And what's the deal with your espn profile saying you like the Red Sox and Yankmees Masterlive?
You're obviously a glass half full guy. If you call the Mets epic collapse until the last game of the season being "in the hunt" then sure! lol. The Dodgers are a team that could be so much better if they actually spent money and went for big game players. Ramirez is garbage and most Dodgers fans are lukewarm on him at this point due to his antics. It doesn't help that he just stated he will definitely not be with the Dodgers after this season. There go his jersey sales. By the way, the Yankees don't pocket their money nearly as much as other teams. Maybe if the Dodgers invested more into the product on the field they might not lose to the same team two years in a row in the NLCS. The Phillies are literally the only NL organization that deserves respect and knows what they're doing.Just curious, where do you get this statistic from? Luck always plays a role but I think that's overephasiving it.Considering the playoffs are nearly 100% luck, the Phillies only have about a 20-25% chance of repeating as NL Champs.

Russia and Canada facing each other in hockey would be epic. I hope the US can go deep. I still give the US a chance with the most underrated goalie in the NHL in net, Ryan Miller.
Trade it for Drew Brees or A. Peterson! They would be nuts not to accept the offer.Lostboy1224New Orleans would be. Drew Bees literally just became an elite NFL Quarterback and won them their first Super Bowl. He's pretty much untouchable. AP is a maybe.
